Contest History

Here is more information from the Creative Writing Contest 2017/2018. As it takes time to build a website, if we ever want to run another writing contest, the building blocks are here to start it up again. Read on to find ideas, perhaps you will begin a hopeful story today. If you do, you can share it with others. Stories give us inspiration and imagination to work for good for our world.

The theme of the contest was fictional stories which portrayed the earth and humans living in hopeful, sustainable ways.

Fast forward 10, 50, 100 years into the future. What will our Earth look like? How has the human race changed and adapted to care for the world?

Open to all writers in Grade 3 & up.
The contest ran through January 15, 2018.

Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each of four age categories.
